Miss Ghana organisers respond to some allegations leveled against them

Organisers of the Miss Ghana pageant have finally reacted to some of the allegations levelled against them by some three former Queens.

Antoinette Delali Kemevor (Miss Ghana 2015), Stephanie Karikari (Miss Ghana 2010) and Giuseppina Baafi (Miss Ghana 2013) who are all former winners of the beauty pageant, revealed that they were made to sign contracts without legal representatives.

The former Queens indicated that they were abused physically and emotionally by InnBut speaking on Accra-based Hitz FM, Arnold Asamoah Baido who serves as the Public Relations Officer for the pageant indicated that as far as he is concerned, lawyers are involved throughout the process of signing the contract adding that sometimes, parents of the pageant is involved.

He, however, indicated that the image pageant will be soiled by the allegations made by the former queens.

“As far as I’m concerned, that is not a fact. That is not true. They have representation. They have counsel. We even get their parents involved in dealings. For the girls to make such allegations like this, potentially can affect the brand.” a Patty, the franchise holder of Miss Ghana.
