Police caution road users against flooded Tema Motorway after downpour

The Ghana Police Service is asking road users to be cautious when driving on the Accra-Tema motorway.

It comes after Monday’s downpour left a section of the motorway flooded, causing vehicular gridlock.

“Motorists plying that stretch should be mindful and reduce their speed limit” a statement issued on the social media pages of the service stated.

It further noted that police officers were currently at the scene managing the situation.
